Enrollment
|
|
- The Watermelon Patch welcomes you to enroll at anytime. We offer month to month memberships with a discount for auto-billing. Classes are 45 minutes long.
|
|
Membership
|
|
- For first time families, we do require a one-time, nonrefundable family membership fee of $25. For parents with more than one child, all siblings receive 25% off. Families with children enrolling in two or more classes receive a 25% discount off the second, third and fourth classes. Members receive one class per week, unlimited Open Play and discounts on any special programs.

|
Parental Encouragement
|
|
- At The Watermelon Patch, parents are active participants in their child’s learning. Parents should stay within a hugs reach of their child to applaud accomplishments and assist with new skills. If your child resists an activity, that’s okay. Let them go at their own pace, but encourage the new skill each week.
|
|
Clothes
|
|
- Parents and kids should wear active play clothes. Parents wear socks – no shoes, while kids are barefoot to avoid slipping while climbing and playing.
|
|
Healthy Kids
|
|
- Please bring only healthy children. Your child should remain at home if he has had a fever, vomited, or had diarrhea within the past 24 hours.
|
|
Missed Classes
|
|
- Make-up classes can only be attended during the time your membership is valid. Pre-approval is required before attending the chosen make-up class to preserve class capacity. Any missed classes will NOT be refunded, only future classes can be refunded.
|
|
Refunds
|
|
- If you are not completely satisfied, we will refund any unused portion of your child’s tuition. Any missed classes will NOT be refunded, only future classes can be refunded.
|
|
Sibling Care
|
|
- If you have more than one child, younger children are encouraged to be carried in a sling or Baby Bjorn carrier to avoid any accidents by leaving them unattended on the floor. Strollers are not permitted in the play area. Older siblings are allowed to use our sibling room upon availability free of charge. Note that the sibling room is equipped with a TV/DVD player and video games, but will be unsupervised during class time.
